| Top | Q. If I am interested in a consultation for cosmetic surgery, is there a fee? A. Cosmetic consultations are free. If you are interested in having a cosmetic eyelid procedure, Dr. Prasad normally does an eye examination to make sure your eye is healthy. For this examination, insurance is accepted. If you don’t have insurance, there is no charge. A visit includes an examination, information and computerized imaging when necessary.

| Top | Q.How much does eyelid surgery cost? A. The cost of surgery depends on what you are having done as well as where you are having it done. Generally it's more expensive if done in a hospital when compared to our surgery suite here at the Eye Institute. Fees for eyelid surgery can vary from $1000 to $6000 (which includes everything including the operating room fee and supplies).
